detects the most notorious infections such as

Virus Cleaner downloads as an executable
program, which means you don't have to install
it. It scans the memory and the entire hard
drive. Although you can't choose specific
files or folders to examine, Avast isn't

Considering it's free, though, and that it
doesn't appear to sneak in any adware or
